Well paid government employees are always complaining about the content of the websites owned by private citizens making a loss. Yet they conveniently forget that theft of online advertising revenues has greatly increased in the last few years, leaving no incentive to create quality content.
For example a russian advertising network has stopped crediting the domain investor for banner views since 8 February 2025, though the ads were being shown on the websites.
The domain investor is paying a huge amount of money for domain renewals, webhosting and other expenses, yet there is no transparency in online advertising, and the ad networks stop crediting the online publisher again for more than two weeks.
